Who is Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas?
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC CTX) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families.
The Central Texas Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide a comforting “home-away-from-home” for families to stay so they can fight their child’s illness or injury together. Our Happy Wheels Carts stroll the hospital hallways bringing complimentary items to families waiting by their child’s hospital bedside. RMHC CTX also supports families who have lost a child through the Healing Hearts program, which provides burial assistance and bereavement support.
Through the caring support of our community we are able to carry out the mission of RMHC CTX. We rely on our strong relationship with the medical community to provide access to health care. We rely on our local McDonald’s Owner/Operators as well as other corporate partners. And we rely on our strategic alliances with organizations, that have the knowledge and infrastructure to extend our reach. Most of all, we rely on you – our donors, volunteers, staff and friends.
